  3. New Features and Improvements
  4. -----------------------------
  5.  1. BPQ application number can be changed by editing PACKET.INI.
  6.     The default is application '1' (BBS/PMS) but you can now use
  7.     a different application number and enable connection to WinPack
  8.     via an option on the "APPLICATIONS" line of BPQCFG.TXT.
  9.  
  10.  2. The use of shortcut keys (Ctrl_F1, etc.) extended to the edit
  11.     window.
  12.  
  13.  3. Address book automatically searched when the callsign field is
  14.     filled in when writing mail.
  15.  
  16.  4. The program can be setup to automatically minimize itself after
  17.     a period of inactivity. You use "MINIMIZE_TIME" in the [TERMINAL]
  18.     section of PACKET.INI.
  19.  
  20.  5. Print option added to the File menu. Previously it was only
  21.     available from the tool bar.
  22.  
  23.  6. WinPack can now be setup so that, after FBB compressed forwarding
  24.     has been used, it sends an "FQ" to the BBS rather than doing a
  25.     hard disconnect, the disconnect is instead initiated by the BBS.
  26.     To enable this, run this new version, close it down and then edit
  27.     PACKET.INI. look for the "SEND_FQ=FALSE" entry in the [FBB]
  28.     section and change it to "TRUE". This should fix the problem that
  29.     occurs with connections via KAM nodes causing a "protocole error"
  30.     message on the BBS every time WinPack disconnects.

  32. Bug Fixes
  33. ---------
  34.  1. If a bull topic longer than 6 characters is input, it is now
  35.     truncated.

  37.  2. The SSID wasn't encoded properly in BPQ unprotos. Only an SSID of
  38.     '0' would actually work. Now fixed.
  39.  
  40.  3. Arguments to programs RUN from a script were corrupted.
  41.  
  42.  4. A hot key was duplicated on the Options menu.
